In the Stylance and FR models, the even more sophisticated Stability Control Technology (SCT) assures that corrective measures are immediately taken in any situation where detection of control loss is sensed. Stylance models are also equipped with moveable headlamps, which track the steering and vastly improve overall visibility when cornering in the dark. All SEAT Leon models are equipped with six airbags, with two additional airbags optional for the rear passengers, located at the side. Five-speed gearboxes are a feature of the 1.6 petrol and 1.9 TDI versions, with six-speed manual gearboxes as standard on the larger engines. A Tiptronic automatic gearbox, allowing automatic gear changing regulated by vehicle speed without driver involvement, is an option on the 2.0 FSI version, while a Dual-Clutch Semi-Automatic Gearbox (DSG) function, which allows for practically instantaneous gear changes is an option on the 2.0 TDI.</p><h2>Features of the Seat Leon</h2><p>Undoubtedly the new SEAT Leon, with its longer and wider body, provides a spacious interior, with comfortable and supportive seating, and more than adequate leg and headroom. Controls are ergonomically designed, tactile and very sports-minded, particularly the short racing-style gear lever. Boot capacity is exceptionally generous, as would be expected from a quality hatchback, and rear seats can be easily folded to allow even more luggage or load access. All round visibility is excellent, providing an almost panoramic wide-screen view to the rear, and, with windscreen wipers at rest beneath the front screen, unimpaired front viewing is guaranteed.
